Notice to Contributors:
Before submitting an article to FIAR please send a one-page abstract to fiar@interamerica.de
The editors invite the submission of articles, event-scenes, interviews and reviews, appropriate to FIAR. Generally, submissions should not exceed 7500 words.
Preparation of Submissions:
Type all copy — including endnotes — double-spaced. All quotations, titles, names, and dates and URL’s should be double-checked for accuracy. Titles in the body of the text should be indicated with italics. Section titles (only) should be in bold. Substantial quotations should be indented by .5″.
Format of Endnotes and Works Cited:
Endnotes
To aid in the editing process for ascii mail-outs and publishing on the web, endnotes should not be formatted using word processing applications. In the body of the text, notes should be indicated with the numeric characters [#]. Endnote text should follow the body of the text with the same format (i.e. same font, size, etc. — not in footnote or superscript formats). Endnotes should be numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript.
Works Cited
Please consult the current version of the MLA guidelines.
Submitting:
All papers and proposals should be sent as e-mail attachments (in MS Word or similar format) to fiar@interamerica.de with the word Submission in the subject line.
Submission of a paper to FIAR will be taken to imply that it presents original, unpublished work. Papers presented at conferences can, with appropriate changes, be considered for publication. All submissions will undergo a review process.
